This is a Great, Rare, Early 8th New York Coast Defense Command military officer's photograph
. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early look, features the officer's of the 8th NY CDC in Uniform, measures approx. 6.5" x 4.5",
is an Original, Vintage piece, from the World War I era, and Rare to Find.
Washington Greys
: The 8th New York Infantry, also known as the "Washington Greys", was stationed out of New York City and served in the Civil War and Spanish-American War. During WWI, they became the 8th Coast Defense Command and protected NYC's harbors, as part of the US Army Coastal Artillery Corps.
This appears to be in Fair, Solid condition, with a repair.
