13".  Takes 2 aa batteries, not included.  While this is technically new, it has been tested by a child with dirty hands.  I tried to clean off the paws where the child tried it, now they are quite clean but maybe just very slight yellow or gray tint remains on the paws if you look closely, but nothing major or obvious.  Has on/off switch on battery pack.  Has been tested and works good.  Says the entire prayer in a little child voice - prayer goes something like this (maybe not exact I may have taken this from a different bible version, but the gist of it is this)
