COMPLETE SET 67 WDCC Disney Sketches Magazines & 2 Storage Boxes 1993-2009 WDCS. Condition is "Used".
Up for auction is my entire complete collection of Walt Disney Classic Collection Sketches Magazines.
These were issued quarterly only to members that joined the Walt Disney Collectors Society.
The magazine starts with Volume 1, Number 1, Spring of 1993 all the way to Volume 17, Number 3, Fall of 2009. That’s all 65 issues from start to finish when the Society closed in Fall 2009.
There’s so much information I can’t put it all in pictures but if you look you can see partial fronts of all magazines, as well as a sample of some of what is on the inside. Also I took a picture of what the backs look like as they equally have impressive artwork as the front does.
These magazines span the entire WDCC fine art collection with articles about pieces, but also highlight milestones and things that were going on within the Disney Company. Kind of like what D23 is now.
The magazines are used, meaning they have definitely been handled and looked through. The edges are worn and there might be a crease here or there, but otherwise these are in amazing condition for being so old. 1993 was almost 30 years ago! They have been stored in the two lovely binders that are included in the auction. They were made specifically for these magazines!
Because it’s 67 magazines the box weighs 15 pounds, but luckily they fit perfectly into a large flat rate priority box so that saves a ton in shipping.
