    Description

    Brebbia in my humble opinion is Italy's most underrated pipe maker, by far. They are one of the best kept "secrets" and one of my favorites of all time! I own 3 Brebbia and one of them is in my top 5 smokers, not even kidding. It seems the well aged briar they use is superb, and their engineering is always spot on. This is a gem of a pipe, an unsmoked Pura series Gioia President Dublin with a briar spigot set up! How often do you see that? The answer is never. I've seen briar stem pipes far more often which are rare themselves. Shape 874 is sleek and classy with just a touch of cant to the Dublin bowl which sports extra thick walls surrounding the relatively modest chamber. At only 27g, it is exceptionally lightweight and well balanced. Shank is round and sturdy and extended by a lighter piece of briar which is the mount and holds the briar spigot vulcanite fishtail stem with gold diamond logo. The finish is a warm medium while the grain displays loads of birdseye covering the front while the rear shows starburst which radiates to the flanks in fine cross grain. Comes complete with box and suede sock, this Brebbia awaits its first smoke!
