Will need to be tanked and honed or bored and honed.

    Here's a 1972-73 Chevrolet 454 cu. in. bare engine block. Casting # 3999289. This is a .03 over bore block, cylinders have surface rust but look good with no ridge, has not been magna - fluxed. Engine is a 2-blot main, has a date code of J 26 72 (Oct. 26,1972), so it must have been in a 1973 model year. The ledge stamps are (engine) T1212 CWH Tonawanga - Dec.12, (VIN)13C159751 Chevrolet,1973 ,  C = Lansing , which would be B body (Biscayne, Belair, Impala, Caprice)
